The IQ2LT (International Quality Label for Learning and Teaching) is a global certification standard that ensures excellence and transparency in distance education programs.

Any higher education institution, training center, or organization offering distance or hybrid learning programs can apply, provided they operate legally and adhere to the IQ2LT framework.

Certification Process

The process usually takes approximately 9 weeks, including application review, self-assessment, audits, and final validation by the Scientific Committee.

Yes. Depending on the location and context, audits may be conducted on-site, fully remotely via secure videoconferencing platforms, or in a hybrid format.

Fees and Renewal

The fees vary according to the institution's size and the number of programs submitted for evaluation. A detailed fee schedule is provided to eligible institutions after the initial application review. The application itself is free.

The certification is valid for 3 years. Institutions must undergo a new audit before the expiration date to renew their status and ensure continuous adherence to quality standards.
